Without doubt, the Eagles are one of the all-time biggest acts in popular music since the dawn of the rock'n'roll era. The band's roots go back to their role as defining artists in the phenomenally popular Southern California rock scene of the '70s, a decade in which they delivered four consecutive #1 albums. Their momentous 2004 farewell tour filled stadiums around the world, and this Blu-ray set captures one of the most stellar events from that now-historic global sweep.

Supplements
Bonus Feature (1080i; 11:14). I frankly don't have the previously released DVD or HD-DVD editions of this title to compare, but this supplement which is generically named on the disc menu is called Eagles Interviews in the insert booklet, so I assume this must be the New Interviews featurette that was evidently the only supplement on the previous DVD and HD- DVD release. Several sites include somewhat misleading information which makes it appear that the European release (and ins some cases, the U.S. release) of the DVD had more supplemental material, but that's evidently not the case. In any event, there's some brief but amusing behind the scenes footage and some interesting sit downs with each of the principal band members.
